The Spirit Of Thanksgiving It's thanksgiving day once again Will you remember to thank Him? Will you invite Him to dine with you? Along with the family is He welcome too?   Or will His presence be excused? Did you not know he's hungry too? He's hungry to hear His children say How thankful they are for every day   An attitude of gratitude He longs to see For an abundance of life He gives daily He rejoices when He sees us share From a giving heart that truly cares There's homeless and the hungry still out there While the rich store up giving only a blind stare If you have a home and food to eat Bless the Lord for your needs He did meet   Not just on this Thanksgiving holiday He deserves praise and honour continually Some people just get by and some may lack   It grieves Jesus when the rich turn their back Let us pray daily for the poor Let us pray to be a blessing more Let us not take nothing for granted For it's by God's grace we breathe each second.   Wishing You And Yours A Wonderful Blessed Day!
