 Blinded Me
I do not know where I am headed now,
And I cannot see you there.
You have had your chance,
And we have had our skin to bare.

I was ready for anything,
At the time that we met.
You turned your head away,
And your mind was already set.

I wanted more between us,
Yet you wish to just be kin.
I had so much to offer you,
But you would not let me in.

Months went by,
And you were nowhere in sight.
I recall your soft touch,
What you said that night.

We were nothing more,
Than just friends to be,
Yet now you wish for more,
And that I just cannot see.

You had your chance,
To touch my heart.
Yet you turned your head away,
And you blinded me from the start.
