From Milk to Meat
There is much that could be said,
Would be coming from my head;
But it is hard to explain,
Through the knowledge in my brain.
Maybe slow to understand,
If your faith is sinking sand;
You are an infant in belief,
That is filled with earthly grief.
You drink milk instead of meat,
Your baby teeth can not eat;
The nutritious hearty food,
Since you're in a teething mood.
Strong food is for the mature,
That walk not crawl to the door;
And spiritually trained,
Emotionally constrained.
So when the time that you ought,
And finally have been taught;
How to be weaned from the milk,
God will dress you in fine silk.
