I tried to convince myself that I could be your dream
I tried to tell myself that you would come around and
accept me for me...but the more I tried, the more I cried..
I sacrifice my all for you....just so you could walk out the door
and tell me we're through,..... over with,...... finish and done..
and yet still my heart hasn't learned how to stop loving you..
how could you be so cruel
how could you play me for a fool
what did I do to you
to make you be UN-true...
even though you say that we're through
I'm still head over heels in love with you
I just can't seem to get past the love that we shared
I really thought with all my heart that you would always be there...but you didn't care....you just walked away...left me
standing there with tears running down my face..
