Insensitive Jerk
Here I am staring into space
And mourning for my Dad,
"Stop concentrating on the family you've lost
And start concentrating on the family you have."
How can I do that
When I can't get past this pain?
Not a second goes by
That my tears don't fall like rain.
I try to watch television
But, all I hear is about death,
It reminds me of the pain I'm in
My mind's in such a mess.
I can't think of anything else
Just try to understand,
Give me some time to mourn my father's death
And stop being an insensitive man.
