Stir Up the Power
Day and night you are in my prayers,
So grateful for someone that cares;
In praying to our Lord God,
Giving to Him honor and laud.
I serve Him with a clear conscience,
With promise of assurance;
He will not forsake or forget,
Of what I truly inherit.
So be mindful of all your tears,
And put away all of your fears;
For God has given you a gift,
For to inspire and uplift.
He has given you the power,
As well as the love to shower;
That is helping you to be kind,
Along with having a sound mind.
You have been given courage and grace,
To help you in what you may face;
Placed by His Spirit in your soul,
That is giving you self-control.
Do not be ashamed of the Lord,
Speak of Him as well as His Word;
Stir up the power for the light,
Turning darkness to noonday bright.
