By The Water's Edge

By the water's edge
The children love to play,
'Neath the warmth of the sun
Of the long summer day.

By the water's edge
The children love to run,
Making so many footprints
They enjoy having fun.

By the water's edge
Collecting many different shells,
Wearing lots of smiles, they are
The children are happy and well.
