eye was ten but never teen eye went from boy to man with nothing in between no sex no hurried kisses no lessons in anatomy autonomy the never teen no one to kiss my hands no one to see me smile in ecstasy of love no while away the hours as we plan no come hither looking at this man the desires were hidden and the skin was toughened by the hatred of the town the left over party the non existent man the over bearing lout replaced by doubt of self importance exuded in the poverty of wealth the turn of the cards as the last whiskey bottle emptied never reaching shelf to dust upon the glass to wait for thief to come to find the whiskey empty in the game that we call life the ace of spades is turned for me the ace is over all the luck eye had when drinking shocked them all one hand eye cried one hand for town the town eye cryed is mine eye win the never teen
