A low murmur travelled through the crowded Courtroom
The man did not care as the verdict sealed his doom
The life he knew had ended in an unexpected gloom
His young wife was dead in the height of her bloom

A well distiguished Poet, he sung rap all over town
His talents graced functions and his name was renown
No one could believe it as the gossip passed around
He killed his pretty "Empress" in her lovely silk gown

His mind replayed sceneries of romance and true love
They were well suited as a hand fits a glove
There was no other but his angel from above
He loved his "Empress" whom he thought the world of

It was two days later when at last he took the blame
"I did not mean to kill her, that was not my aim!"
"She was my one and only"! He hung his head in shame
"Emotions took me over as she played a dirty game"

"We pledged our vows together on a full moon's night
She kissed me at the altar in a bride's gown of white
The years have not been easy, our finances were tight
So when my friend came visiting, they vanished out of sight"

"My heart was broken when their plans were made plain
She said her love had ebbed like the sunshine in the rain
I felt a deep sorrow as she laughed while she explained
My feelings caused my anger and I fell instantly insane"

Channel5 T.V. news:
Ganzie's Murder Trial goes To Scene of The Crime:
The murder trial of reggae entertainer Louie Ganzie continued today but not in the Supreme Court, it was at the scene of the crime. The judge, the jury, the attorneys, the accused and courtroom observers went to the home at the corner of Raccoon and Bocotora Streets, Belize City where Keisha Sutherland aka "Empress" was found dead on the morning of January third, 2007. She had been stabbed over 20 times.
Testimony was given inside the house by former CIB boss Senior Superintendent Chester Williams and Keisha's downstairs neighbor Rupert McKenzie, an ex policeman. On the day of the murder he had heard a racket upstairs and saw Ganzie run down the stairs.

LOUIS "LOUIE GANZIE" GENTLE FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER
Convicted murderer Louis “Louie Ganzie” Gentle was sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice Troadio Gonzalez. Earlier this month, the thirty year old was found guilty of killing the mother of two of his children, Takeisha Sutherland. On January third, Sutherland was stabbed twenty-one times with a knife and then left to die in front of her children on floor of her home. Throughout his trial, Gentle denied committing the act.
