Another seedy story in politics
Are we bothered
I think not
The amount of rubbish that trickles through
And we care not
One little jot
Scandals and sleaze don't make power
And their hands have allowed that to slip away
Brown struggles at the grasp of Cameron
Will he live to see another day
I'm sick to the teeth of hearing about donors
Supply em with cash, yeh, I need some too
They couldn't arrange a tea-party for chimpanzees
Government has turned into a zoo
Let me into power and I will sort it all out
Slash all the fat-cat wages and spread some cheer
Patient's in the grip of our dreary hospitals
Some of that money I would steer
Better schools and transport, the NHS in general
Now I stop and think I've got a list as long as my arm
Come on, let's get this country organised again
Instead of competing to see who's the man with most charm
