Walking out on a Winters day

Walking out… on a winters day
a crispness clean in the air
the bright blue sky and fluffy clouds
and Ducks flying past in close pairs.
Motor cars with steamy fumes
spiralling up to the sky
red flashing lights and beeping horns
with motorists screaming out “why”?
A few friends are meeting… on this winters day
I heard them complain of the cold
I then heard one say… “old Bert passed away
but f**k it.. he was really old”!
Then two lovers met… I saw them kiss
and I smiled as they held hands
they hugged each other then walked away
as I trod in some sh*t on the ground.
I then walked on home on this winters day
I felt happy that good things will be
but as I put the key in my door
I slipped on the sh*t if you please!
