Silent Dreams
Silent dreams
Of reaching the stars
It seems
Slipped away to mars
Dreams swept under the rug
Fulfilling the needs of others
Daily pull and tug
Until you finally discover
All that was hidden
Keeping it inside
As such is forbidden
Nobody else's business, so you hide
You wear a mask
Yours is a happy face
If anyone should ask
Everything is fine all in place
Exactly where it belongs
Careful not to make a mistake
You can do no wrong
You're depended upon for goodness sake
Hang on by a thread
Time is coming near
You need not dread
Your eyes have shed many a tear
Weight will lift
Forward on the move
The hourglass will shift
No one need approve
Silent dreams will come true
Life is not what it seems
Especially for you
Radiant beams silent dreams

You may say I'm a dreamer. But I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us. And the world will live as one.
