The absence of love's wonderfully warm light
has been snuffed out within my heart.
It's fiery blaze has become extinct
within the furnace of my soul.
The candle of it's joy within my mind
has been unceremoniously blown out.
Leaving my life a cold,empty,meaningless
shell of what it once was,
when you were the blazing light of my life.
