THE SILENT TICK






  THE SILENT TICK  



..........a silent tick........



Where has the beat gone from my heart?
It disappears when we`re apart.
My heart pulsates within my breast
But no sound echoes in my chest.


....silent.....


I`ve only got a silent tick
It may as well be just a brick,
Without you here it cannot feel
It`s hard to describe this ordeal.


....silent.....


Return the beat back to my heart
And make the emptiness depart
I want to hear it beat again
My happiness I`ll then retain.


....silent.....


Come back and make it beat again
My rhythm I may then regain
I want to feel it beat so fast
A feeling that is unsurpassed.
