M's Poetry

All On You

All On You

You said just tolerate me
what if I can't do it?
What if I walk away?
What if I can't forget your mistakes?

You said I am your blood
it's not something you ever chose
but we are bonded together
through name, through pain
the mirror is celebrating
as I am leaving

You said just make a life for yourself
you don't have to please anyone else
but that in theory is the truth
we all see it though so differently
I am working to match
the appearance covering my outer half

so you said begin to love me
what if I can't do it?
What if I run away?
What if I make even more mistakes?

And I will....
Just like the sun rising
just like the waves crashing
but it's in me
for the happiness I make
