Serenity In Loss
Serenity In Loss
Tomorrow I will cry
remembering how it was
I will clutch your photo
feeling your love
I will tell my son one day
where his grandmother went
and I will carry your legacy on
with a tested spirit
because you gave me so much
I keep right here below the surface
my secret garden of serenity
named mom at your service
even now, even though it might sound silly
I break out a camcorder
and talk to you like
you are in it
just checking in.....
just remembering.....
just need some advice.....
I can feel you just listening
I can feel you just whispering
and the end always is the same
goodbye mama....
until I see you again.
