Poetry For Everyday People
A Simple Party
Long before
I knew better
back when all
smiles seemed genuine
and hand shakes thought
to matter
lived endless dreams
beyond reality's binds
beyond the clutch
of human dramas
beyond the cuffs
of lost societies
engrossed in exteriors
and bound by materials
back when water
was free.
I knew better
back when all
smiles seemed genuine
and hand shakes thought
to matter
lived endless dreams
beyond reality's binds
beyond the clutch
of human dramas
beyond the cuffs
of lost societies
engrossed in exteriors
and bound by materials
back when water
was free.
