Sometimes
Sometimes I drift away
To another place and time,
Where castles are built
To touch the sky
As birds fly peacefully by,
Unicorns play wild and free
As they frolic in the sun
Coloured fish swim happily
As I watch the rivers run,
Rainbows fill the sky
Their colours shine above
Lovers' passing by
Falling madly in love,
The grass is green and cool
The sky is clear and blue
I can hear laughing
Little children playing peek a boo,
On a day like this
When things are hard to bare
I close my eyes
Suddenly I am there,
Sometimes I drift away
To another place and time
