The Break Up

This poem isn't necessarily about me but everybody and anybody
whom has faced this situation somewhere in the history of time.

I miss the soft sounds of her quiet sleep,
     Gentle whispers in the night
                    sweet songbirds keep
        when they are gray...
but now all I do is hope...
as time forever passes in a day
Fault is meaningless when speaking to the wind
You, O Paradise, are so far away...but I pretend
O how I long that precious Star of the night
My heart glows the highest when she's bright
Have my own hands covered thy glory with
          clouds of stubbornness?
Why must my foolish ways stop thy kiss
Let heaven's own hands gather I say
And thy rays of hope break the light of day
