 The CHRIST In Christmas
A day unique, unlike all others
We celebrate yet some will smother
Their own spin to His birthday
Forget my CHRIST on Christmas day

The day is His why can't all see
So blind we are with vanity
In haste we shop until we spend
No time for one we condescend

We trim our trees and bake our pies
Yet live our lives with blatant lies
Will truth be seen on this His day
Or will it hide till judgement day

I see Christmas yet some will turn
Their back on love, Holy His spurned
Yet wash down food with sinful spirits
Forget His call and voice not hear it

Simple these truths and still we run
Away from Him with lives undone
Yet celebrate how sad this sorrow
The best we trash as our tomorrows

Tis the season to change your reasons
To know of Him who man does treason
Who gave His life born in a manger
Who saved the damned who loved you stranger

We wish you CHRIST, This Christmas day
Salvation yours the truth and way
Whose only crime was to be born
The CHRIST in Christmas, the CHRIST man scorns
