Sharing Plans

We make plans but the Lord,
Always has the last word;
Whatever we decide,
Not always coincide.

We may think that we know,
What to do where to go;
But God knows what is right,
Since He has the insight.

The Lord judges motives,
On the way each one lives;
But for the final say,
It will be His each day.

Our detours in life,
And reason for the strife;
We did not talk to Him,
Before we had felt grim.

So with the Lord in prayer,
Be sure your plans you share;
You are sure of success,
Allowing God to bless.
