Beautiful Disaster

Love Isn't Measured By Distress

It's not that I love you any less
But this restlessness
That causes great distress
I fought so hard to keep us alive
I nearly forgot how to survive
I've bended over backwards
To make things better
I tried talking to you
Writing letters
But nothing I could do
Seemed to fix
The struggles we were
Struggling through
I feel guilty when I've done
Something wrong
I never wanted to disobey you
But the emotions got too strong
And now I'm not quite sure what to do
Because I can't control me anymore
And your words aren't helping,
Just causing emotions to soar.
I hope you know, more then anything else
That I don't love you any less
And its indeed my own restlessness
That causes my distress
