Just a Hustle!
It's all just a hustle as I reach for my cue! Will I let you win one? Or perhaps win a few?
When I grab for my pool cue it becomes my right arm! It's all just a hustle I don't mean any harm!
Nine ball? Eight ball? It's all the same you see! For when the night comes to a close the winner will be me!
It takes skill and keen eyes to play this game well, Do you have what it takes? Only time will tell.
Ball speed and a precision aim, will line up the cue ball for every next shot!
If you lose there's only yourself to blame, so rack'em up let's see what you got!
Not too bad for a Rookie you do have some skills! But that game I did not get to shoot!
Well I guess I rack this one! I said with a grin! That game you got lucky, this time you can't win.
Game after game he put me away, I thought to myself, this just isn't my day!
I came for the hustle like I usually do! But I now have to wonder who's hustling who?
Well the night came to a close and I had lost most of my dough!
I have never been beat this bad before!
He smiled at me and said I'm a pro, gave back my money and walked out the door!
From that day on I had a new respect for the game and although I never saw him again!
I now only play the game for fun, for it's a game that I can't always win! Yes my hustling days are all over, I Promise I will never gamble again!
Ya Wanna bet?
