We Placed A Tariff On Our Sheriff
We Placed a Tariff On Our Sheriff
We placed a tariff on our sheriff
By popular assent.
His Stetson, badge and palomino
Support our government.
We taxed his tattoos also
And his Nevada spurs, silver and new.
We deputized his grandma
To draw more revenue.
At her hip, she wears a peacemaker
With pearl grips and screws.
It's subject to high tariffs
And to Special Grandma Dues.
We levied a tall tariff on the sheriff
Above his grandma's loud catcall.
They complain it's all too taxing,
But we told them it's the law.
