Poems From A Montana Rancher
Baseball is Wrong
Baseball is Wrong
They say a man can walk to first
If he has four balls
He has hit a home run if he hits it
over the wall
He can slide into base
If he gets there first
He will not be out
so please don't fear the worst
There is lots of other things
written in the rules
I just know – one of these
Just cannot be true
I know men can run and walk
And stand up straight and tall
But I don't think a man could walk
If he had four balls
They say a man can walk to first
If he has four balls
He has hit a home run if he hits it
over the wall
He can slide into base
If he gets there first
He will not be out
so please don't fear the worst
There is lots of other things
written in the rules
I just know – one of these
Just cannot be true
I know men can run and walk
And stand up straight and tall
But I don't think a man could walk
If he had four balls
