Petals In The Grass

Seduced

The darkness swallows me
Cold dripping silence
Fills the room
Depression so seductive
Beguiling in its calling
Enticing and alluring
Summons bitter thoughts
Its intent ever malice
Treading on brittle emotions
I assume my old position
On pillows I do lay
