Once awhile ago I found it's so
A place hidden within mountain high~
Only few they knew and took me to
The mountains edge under almost hidden sky~
An oldest vine covered cave entrance there
Had not been entered in the longest time~
Hanging mosses hung thick and low
Among the constantly growing vine~
An almost hidden pathway
Could be seen only here and there~
Under a canopy of the highest tallest trees
That almost disrupted the breezes and the pure air~
The small bats only found this place homely
Their fragrance how it reached the nose~
And there on display along the way
the wildest jungle Bangkok rose~
There spiders made their presence known
With web so thick of silver mat~
And the smallest lizard dragon there
Upon a small moss covered rock there sat~
As was long told this cave of old
Had within caverns deep as was high~
Almost hidden from the undisturbed jungle
In the dimmest slightest light of canopy covered sky~
Some spoke of treasure others of ghosts
A few told old stories of some that died~
But for ever so long this caves unsung song
Told that for the longest time non had ever tried~
Nature it had claimed this mighty cave
And nature alone it owns it now~
Clearly it would be a shame as well effort and pain
To break it's secret now somehow~
Only very few of it had ever known
And many more never told at all of it's tale~
Of what they thought lay within , in light so dim
Of it's dangers and structure frail~
But among natives I do suspect an age old respect
As this cave remained undisturbed there safe and sound~
Since back to the longest day still it stayed this way
As if it was considered sacred ground~
So there this mighty cave stays just as always
And never will be entered never at all~
Where jungle mosses hung low , wildest vines they grow
And distant high tree monkeys call~
