Kayla

Kayla, quiet country girl with pretty eyes of blue
Children have no better friend than they will find in you

I watched you as a child with your quiet gentle way
Life was blessed at our home when you came to play

I smile when I see you and I marvel at your smarts
You lead by being smart and kind, that's how you win folks hearts

Your beauty and your dignity mixed with country charm and style
Knowing you will bless the world, makes this Daddy smile

You were not born my daughter but if I could make you mine
I would be quite happy,  to call you daughter any time
