Esplanade squeeze _

No place for an evening streaker's dash on
the esplanade's cake walk of high fashion.
The sidewalk blocked up with tables galore
for night crowds to telescope inaction.

Food factories for tourists, litter the place
the night markets would seem no exception.
Idiots in groups graze menued delights
with no sense to just sit at the tables.

Instead they just stand within their own zone
ignorant of others need to walk through.
Chatter-box language reshapes their tight space
bodies press bubbled blood, when nothing moves.

Families of three get to remake the rules
side by side they saunter along, setting
the speed for the crowd which follows, such a
pity their cat walks hijack our time zone.
