Liquor Courage

               Some people think liquor courage is a gift,
               but mostly it is an what if.
               liquor courage is something that people see,
               that they think they need.

               So, that they can stand up in front of another,
               hoping laughter isn't what they discover.
               A way to get up and dance
               maybe, a chance at romance?

               If a mistake is made,
               they can just walk away.
               Yeah, liquor courage can do that,
               if you know you aren't coming back.

               To get up to sing,
               liquor really doesn't bring.
               A way to sing a song right,
               so, you don't have to drink all night.

               To liquor courage you don't need to run,
               for without it you can have fun.
               You aren't alone so don't be afraid,
               people are scared each and every day.
