Without Rhyme Or Reason

And It's Cold ....

Photobucket

Today was dismal,
The dank,
Freezing fog,
Covering the world,
As a shroud,
Winter ravaged trees,
Their ghostly outlines,
Stand still and silent,

For two long days,
The fog has remained,
Clouding the vision,
Confusing the scene,
I am lost,
I missed the turn,
I can't find,
The way back home,

I know it's there somewhere,
My old familiar street,
My safe and warm haven,
But visibility's zero,
My windscreen is freezing,

And I'm lost,
Alone,
And it's cold.
