Happy Birthday! (Merry Christmas!)
Where have the Christmas's of our childhood gone? It seems that all of our true values have slipped out the door!
When the birth of Jesus was on the minds of everyone! And We all knew what the true celebration was for?
Sure it was fun to expect Santa to leave presents under our beautiful tree! And watch for Rudolf as he pulls Santa's sleigh flying high in the sky!
But this Christmas will we open a bible for our children's eyes to see? No! We have to rush to the mall, there are more video games to buy!
Cookies and milk was his breakfast of choice! As Santa's sleigh from rooftop to rooftop would pounce!
and on Christmas morning not a cookie was left! And as for the milk? Not even an ounce!
Why are we taking Christ out of Christmas and replacing it with an X?
Is that what the season is now all about?
We can't do without credit or cashing our checks! But Christ we can do without?
We really need to rethink our morals this Christmas, and Bring our young children up in the light!
The only one's held accountable is us! And we must teach them now, before Christmas becomes truly, a silent night!
Now I am not saying not to enjoy the fest! But I am asking you both Rich and poor!
That we all this Christmas will do our best! And Remember who the Holiday is truly for!
