Heart Of The Matter

Accepts No Imitations

Photobucket

She received an invitation,
But accepts no imitation,
For love can come,
In oh, so many guises,
And it's really hard to say,
If it's just a game they play,
And you're a victim,
Of someone, who fantasises,

But love can be so strong,
Hard to tell if you are wrong,
It's not easy,
When you want it so to be,
And no Tom, or Dick or Harry,
Can persuade this girl to marry!
At the moment she's footloose,
And fancy free,

She accepts no imitations,
There are certain limitations,
A certain line she knows,
She's never crossed,
She won't be second best,
For someone who failed the test,
And if love's a game,
She's sorry that you lost.
