Heart Of The Matter
Dreams, Never Rigid
Play some gentle music,
Sigh softly in the sound,
Pick up the pieces of a life,
And turn it all around,
Discard the broken promises,
Grown dusty on the floor,
Forget the dreams that shattered,
With the slamming of a door,
For dreams are never rigid,
They float through sleep filled time,
To settle quietly in the heart,
And materialise in rhyme.
