{That Long Road }
That long road beacons to me once again
Neath dark clouds which surely calls rain
I know well the rough path I'm asked to thread
But with faith I prepare to forge right on ahead
It's a detour in my life which I have not planned
Still I know for me it's the Lord's holy command
As in times before I hear HIS voice whisper in my ear
"Don't be afraid, child, I have placed you in my care!"
This is but another trial in my test of faith
To prove my trust in the One who is called "Great"
Roll back the dark clouds, Lord!
I need to feel the sun!
Roll back the dark clouds, Lord!
May thy will for me be done!
My journey looms before me at this time
As my age has ripened into its prime
I know my future will hereafter be transformed
I depend on the Lord's words to be confirmed
The end of that long road is yet to be seen
By faith all will be as well as it has been
