I Wish I Could Write
I wish I could write
Happy poems again,
But, Dad since you've left
I don't know where my mind has been.
I used to write a lot
Now, it's every once in a while,
There are days that go by
That I don't even smile.
I wish you were still here
So, I can be me again,
But, all I can think of is you
And tears still fall, every now and then.
