When I lay down
To sleep every night,
I can see visions of you
Memories, fill me with delight.
It's three weeks today
Since you have left this Earth,
But, I know you loved me
From the day of my birth.
Dad, I loved you
With all of my heart,
But, on Father's Day
Is when you did part.
I remember times
When I stayed with you,
Weekends I wouldn't trade
Under skies so blue.
I remember the time
When you held me up so high,
Sitting on your shoulder
Felt as if I could touch the sky.
Dad, I miss you deeply
My heart and soul feel blue,
All I have now is just
The reminiscence of you.

I miss my Dad oh so much. I have been trying my hardest not to cry. It's hard. :'o( I wish I had you guys, to help me through my pain. It would have been very nice to know how much all of you cared.
