A Mixture Of Emotions!A mixture of emotions deep within, We fight the fight, but don't always win! We laugh and cry, and hurt and pain, And wonder if the sun will shine again! But out of every storm, emotions glean, Look to the rainbow, and see what I mean! If you look clearly, you will see the colours bright, And that makes a change from the dark of night! For at times our emotions in the dark of night, Don't let us see clearly, until the dawn of light! For the night brings the demons that cause us pain, Creating a blanket of torture and sending us insane! But always from the nightmare, sanity will prevail, And with it for the future, will transpire another tale. A message from the heart, to the pain in the chest, Is to always be focused and to do our very best! For the best inside us, is there for the taking! And the choice is free, so is the forsaking! A mixture of emotions like the ingredients of a cake, Mix them together and see what they make! Upset the mixture, and the cake isn't right! Then you will once more, be alone in the night! And then your thoughts smother you again! Tossing and turning, your heart full of pain! Pain for the hurt caused to you this day, And the hurt in the heart seems forever to stay! But focus on the good, and let the bad free! And before you know it, you will be focused, like me! A mixture of emotions, negative, turbulent and pain; Let it all go, for there is nothing to gain!
