Heart Of The Matter

Something, Softly Sensual ...

Photobucket

She was a woman on a mission,
Requiring something new to wear,
Something softly sensual,
Secret, hidden underwear,

The colour somewhat opulent,
To cover her demise,
The underlying package,
Meant for only one man's eyes,

She tried to change her image,
Someone new for him to see,
But her efforts, sadly, were in vain,
For he knew the heart of she,

It's not the pretty pictures,
Painted canvasses he seen,
But the woman he so nearly lost,
The one he made his Queen,

And he, her King of Romance,
Her faithful, loyal friend,
Now living quietly in her heart,
And loving,
To the end.
