I stand before you

I stand here silent before you
shamed at all that I've been
you created a world so wonderfully bright
but I've erased all that you dreamed.
I am man and mans true admirer
such a body of beautiful curves
you gave us it all then cried at our fall…
now only memories are all we preserve.
We have raped and burned our hillsides
gained profit from another's demise
we have bellied our full from wars and wars tools
and somehow we still think we're wise?
But I, I stand before you…
so shamed all that I've been
and I beg on my knees your forgiveness
for misunderstanding your wonderfull dream.
