I Need To Get In Shape

exercise
exercise

I've been eating way too much, and my wife has shrunk my clothes
If I really bend my knees, I can reach and touch my toes

Someone said; "you are too fat and you need to get in shape"
Eat only what is good for you like vegetables and a  grape.

I hauled myself down to the gym and climbed on a machine
One designed to make me run, and get real fit and lean.

I found a device with a big old belt to make me rattle and roll
It shook me so, dad blamed hard, It nearly scrambled my soul.

As I was rowing on a different machine it suddenly dawned on me,
round is a shape, so I am in shape, and now I'm as happy as can be.
