Today, reflect was just last year
The time wasted yet it appears
That we've been given another day
To choose wisely, to give CHRIST praise
Some will read and turn their face
As if there was one to replace
The joy that reigns if they would humble
Themselves to GOD and cease their tumble
Their is a choice simple it seems
To know the truth and not a dream
For chase some will this worlds treasures
But not of Heavens who more than measures
The child in you must have seen
The Great I Am who wipes sin clean
A new beginning awaits for you
2008, what will you do?
Be blind and run away from fate
Knowing one day all have a date
To answer for how one lived
Forgot the GOD, you He forgived
He came not to rule the world
But to give life, yet you still whirl
Just like a top that spins today
It too lifeless, one day will lay
Imagine how and why forgiven
Keep deep this thought, from He whose risen
Today you breathe because He so chose
A new beginning to all proposed
