The Epiphany Of Truth

It wasn't my desire to ride in on the hero's horse but the
ancestors sent her to me and she demanded I mount her.
Though I told her I wasn't a famous general, she nudged me on,
looking at me with her eyes as if to say, "The words of truth
are mightier than the guns of injustice." Then I...I knew I
was her rider. She looked at me again as if to say,
"But we must ride through hell to get to heaven."
