Brought Out
I look in front of me,
To see water of great size.
Waves of massive strength,
Hug the boats with despise.
Tall buildings dwell behind,
The free flowing creatures within.
They smile at the peacefulness,
As the boats think the water is a kin.
I glance at the gray clouds above,
As the tranquility stays the same.
The wind embracing my being,
As there is nobody to blame.
A supernatural light appears in the sky,
And dwells like a star at night.
The brightness blinds my being,
As fear is brought out to my sight.
The light stands there for a second,
Then races by me in a flash.
Hits the clouds to the right,
And descends down to the buildings in a dash.
It plunges down to land,
Like a fly traveling to its death.
Explosions develop everywhere,
As I can barely take a breath.
I run... Not know where to go.
Fear seems to be running with me,
And tearing my skin to shreds,
As panic is allowing me to see.
Waves of massive size,
Encompass the creatures on land.
I am with everyone,
As trepidation holds our hand.
The boats half gone,
And the buildings on fire.
Water falling from my face,
As safety is a desire.
I rub my eyes intensely,
As what I'm seeing is not so.
Explosions of destruction,
I scream out "NO."
I feel a warm softness,
Near the strands on my head.
I open my eyes,
To realize I was in bed.
