I wrote a poem today
A poem for my Mom,
Letting her know I love her
Wrote about days long gone.
She has had it rough
Since my grandfather had taken sick,
Now, with the passing of my father
Life has hit her, like a ton of bricks.
I wish there were words
That can help soothe her pain,
But, for now, I'll let her know I'm here
While her tears, fall like rain.

My Mom and Dad, got divorced when I was at the age of 5 years old. They've been separated for quite a long time. She's told me, on many occasions, that she cries, because she is worried about my two brothers and myself. I keep trying to tell her not to worry, because she's only hurting herself, in the long run.
