 Attaining Simplicity
Just when you think you've mastered the game they change the rules,
and when you think you can fix things yourself you need new tools.
The instructions you get with things aren't always the best,
all this change in our world makes new test after test.
Making things simpler or harder often seems the way,
as some of us walk in the confusion each day.
Teachers and books and lesson plans,
constantly changing in human hands.
Religious beliefs and rituals of war,
with some you ascend and others find horror.
Bank notes and credit cards and leases for rent,
seems like that's where our money's all spent.
All of this life with its various pains and frustrations,
If there's a new Life I hope it has more tranquil sensations.
