Heart Of The Matter

Come Spring

Photobucket

Come spring,
Come fill my day with light,
Come yellow petals,
Snowdrops white,

New life to burst,
From winter seed,
And brittle hearts,
That break and bleed,

Come blue skies,
To greet the dawn,
Let me not wake,
Till darkness gone,

Be gone grey cloud,
And daylight bring,
The blackbirds' song,
Come spring,

Come spring.
