Bruce,
Where ever you go
Whatever you do
I want you to know
I think about the man in you

I think he is kind
He talks to my mind
He appeals to my heart
Where friendship's a start

To look towards the West
Where the sunsets are best
I'll look to the East
On your words I will feast

Because communication is the key
You can see it in the poet in me
You are strong, handsome, giving
You give me a reason for living

A fantasy of smiles
Although there's miles
Between you and I
Understanding guy

Please don't be heart broken
These words that I've spoken
Come from deep in me
I do sit them free

So one can understand
Sometimes I am afraid of man
How they can hurt me
Or when they just want to flirt me

You haven't ran away
Because we might meet someday
And if by chance or plan we do
I want you to know:

I love the friend I found in you.
