Sweet Angel

In my mind I see you grow, tall and handsome that I know.
Sweet and honest, you'll steal the show.
Precious angel, you'll always glow.
I hear your whisper in the air.
I smell still the scent of your golden white hair.
The touch of your hand so gentle and fair.
It helps me to go on knowing you are still there.
No more the baby who once sat on my knee.
growing so fast in my mind you see.
So many plans, now they cannot be.
God must have had others to take you from me.
One day sweet darling, we will meet again.
With open arms, we will hug with no pain.
Until then sweet angel, please! will you remain.
Close by my side, my loves still the same.
