Out away away several nights several days
In the vastness of dunes and endless empty land~
The further one travels and carries on
The further away it all seems to expand~
An ocean of nothing out there much at all
Within the wilderness of sand ever grand~
Dead shrubs they exist as the sun over kissed
Out where the the fire of nature commands~
Hard to remain alive as nothing there does thrive
Where only cactus and dry bush does grow~
Some life does live at night , aware of their plight
Out where ever so few ever should go and know~
Where a man can loose his mind,His way home never find
Lost in the glare of the haze~
Mirages they fool,Pretending to pool
As the hottest winds sweep land in a glaze~
Natures flip side out where most things are fried
Experience this place one lives never more~
Ones footprints disappear in this place so undear
No water,no food,little shade to be sure~
Where to breath tastes like fire,Ones throat feels of brier
Away out beyond where man should ever go~
In the never ending landscape where death wears a sands cape
In a place that one should never know~
